After our trailer for On the Way Home got the attention of the European Union, Director Giorgi Kvelidze and I were brought on to create four short documentaries throughout Georgia to air on ‘EU Day.’ Once again I would be the Director of Photography. 

These four films, collectively titled, Europe and Me, are meant to highlight Georgian-European values and their efforts to protect their diversity, equality, freedom, and democracy. For each film, a distinct region was chosen to not only show the diversity of the people that live there, but the diverse landscape as well. With EU Day rapidly approaching we began non-stop filming over the course of a single month, traveling from Kakheti, to Imereti, to Guria and Racha-Leckhumi.

The films premiered on Europe Day 2022 and the premiere was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Salome Zourabichvili, and Carl Hartzell, the EU Ambassador to Georgia.
